If you enjoy big musical numbers, it's a classic. Crazy how this, Gold Diggers of 1933, and 42nd Street, all came out this same year.

As far as I know this movie invented that overhead water shot that was frequently parodied in Warner Bros cartoons and Fantasia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSHGVDuS4fE
