Alpha Tauri x Gundam special collaboration for the Vegas GP

This is laser-targeted at me holy shit.
I've always liked Gundam, but I never really got into it until earlier this year when I watched the original series. So I'm absolutely loving this collaboration.
The model kits (gunpla) are super fun to build, I highly recommend picking up a cheap ($10-$30) high grade kit if you're remotely curious about it. Just get a pair of cutters and you're all set to build it.
Also, the fact that they aren't selling that AT branded kit is criminal. I'm gonna have to try and paint my own now I guess.
Okay two questions, is there a big overlap between Gundam fans and F1 fans?
And does this mean that Alpha Tauri is planning on blowing up the other teams?
Well I'd imagine a lot of F1 fans in their early 30s grew up watching Gundam Wing and Seed, so this might be big nostalgia bait. And they're definitely trying to grow Gundam's popularity in the US, what with the latest series being free on YouTube and all.
And if Yuki is Amuro in this crossover, his car is gonna get incredibly damaged this race because of some reckless driving, but he'll still somehow end up finishing in the points (I'd say a win, but let's be a tad realistic here).
I'd actually fucking dance if Yuki gets a win. I think that'd be great for F1, to be honest.

The Alpha Tauri Gundam looks nice. Too bad it's for display purpose only.
