Has anyone tried Tello with the Light Phone II? (lemmy.world)

I currently have a Light Phone II and am in no hurry to buy a new phone as long as this one works. My carrier, however, (US Mobile) does not work. So i'm probably going to switch to either a smart watch plan with Verizon or T-Mobile, or try Tello. The latter isn't officially supported but they are considerably cheaper.

Does anyone actually have firsthand experience using this phone with this carrier, and if so does it work? Even if they aren't officially supported by the LP they're tempting me with a better price.

Dumbphones

Smartphones dominate the world. But have we become smarter by using them?

This community is oriented for people who prefer either so-called "dumbphones" or "feature phones" in order to regain control of their life.

Here is a very simple set of rules to follow:

  1. Don't be rude to others.
  2. Don't harass or shame somebody for not being hardcore dumbphones fan. Everybody does it his own way.
  3. Keep this community simple: discussions must be dumbphone or smartphone-oriented, not about dogs or food.
