Self-driving cars are still cars. Even if they work properly, they still take up too much space, leading to incorrect urban design.

the average American driver experiences a minor collision every 229,000 miles and a major collision every 699,000 miles.

those numbers are way lower (crash frequency) than I expected, tbh

it feels like the average in my circle in Ontario is like one minor crash every 200k km. obviously I've not actually tracked the miles of all my acquaintances, this is just going off memories of random discussions with people.
