WHO slams US-funded newborn vaccine trial as "unethical"

Jesus Christ. So Guinea-Bissau is planning to update their policy in 2028 from giving Hep B vaccines at 6 weeks to the WHO recommendation of at-birth. They are delaying because of lack of funding.
So a Danish couple decided to exploit the situation to do some unnecessary tests by giving some babies in Guinea-Bissau the vaccine at birth and comparing the outcomes to the six week vaccine babies.
The "study" was paused because “Exploiting scarcity is not ethical,” the WHO wrote in its statement today."
So RFK decided to fund it.
