Anyone who thinks North Korea is "Totally cool bro" and "Did nothing wrong!" is operating on a level of willful ignorance so powerful it would make Creationists jealous.
They're very much like MAGA. You can't use logic or analysis to argue with them, they don't operate on those principles.

north korea is the furthest thing from a "far-left" govt one of my IR instructors said they are basically a monarchy, even compared to russi and china which isnt even the left. they are all technically right wing authoritarian governments.
It's so bizarre since Tankies can make some really good arguments for communism if they can step back and stop sucking the boot. They're so deep in campism that they have to praise North Korea and modern-day Russia, they can't fathom that there can be bad communism.
But as I usually say, they're not communists, they're red-fash, or rather closested authoritarianists.
