yeah, sorry. i just watched it so it was super fresh in mah mind. there’s a whole episode about him wanting to be thanked in an awards acceptance speech because producers can’t win awards.

I feel like once the EGOT became a thing, voters would feel pressured into giving celebrities the awards they do not have to finish their collection.

This was particularly obvious with Audrey Hepburn, who got an Emmy and a Grammy right after she died, as if they realised they made an oopsy by not giving her the full set before.
