Oracle runs into the one thing investors hate to do in late stage capitalism: actually building capital intensive infrastructure. Sure this case is for nonsense, but it's a rule across the board.

Oracle burns through the cash faster than my mom in a shopping centre.

Jokes aside, their intend to acquire 100billion in new funding round will only last them one year. That's how bad they have it with cash. They have gotten 80billions to pay back to early investors by the end of this year and the business itself is in negatives, losing 560 million last year, up from year before. It's crazy 🤣

Edit. I realised I have mixed up the oracle with openai. But we all know 2/3 of the ai companies will be merged or lost before the one that succeeds.
