I shape my hand into the first letter of the word i want to talk about, that way i can engage in the current conversation and also remember what i want to talk about when the opportunity opens up

The only person who I consistently kinda force to listen to my rants that go for at least 30 mins at a time is my wife. When I'm talking to other people, usually my point and what they're talking about are part of the same conversation so it's not that hard to remember it.
