Darkened injection site, 10 weeks 4 days on EEn (lemmy.ml)

hello, after 10 weeks of injecting EEn in MCT oil in the vastus lateralis sites, i've noticed a very small area around the site on my left thigh has darkened. i just noticed it today. my last injection was 4 days ago, there's been no pain or discomfort since the injection, nor is the darkened area raised or swollen. i only noticed when i was able to see it. i'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something like this, and if it's a cause for concern, since i can't find much on darkened injection sites on google.

Is it a bruise? Bruising is pretty common and might happen less with practice.

Just out of curiosity what's your technique? I've been doing the same location alternating sides. I have a hard time causing myself pain with needles so I usually end up pushing it in super slowly and gradually. I find it helps reduce the pain and minimize bleeding after I'm done but idk how anyone else does it.

Quick Facts

Different routes (oral vs injections vs trans-dermal etc) have the same results. Pick whichever option you are most comfortable with.
If you're doing feminizing hrt your boobs will randomly grow in bursts. Chest pain going away is perfectly normal.
It's unreliable to estimate your hormone levels based on signs. Take blood tests if they are available to you.
Remember to eat well, get enough sleep, and exercise! This will help you grow properly and look more masculine on testosterone or more feminine on estradiol.
