Every picture that I expand automatically dims along with the text. I thought maybe it was only doing this to posts I had already opened but it does it to new content also.

Any known fix?

Update: the fix was to turn off the setting which dims a post after it has been read. Might be something worth addressing on the dev side unless I'm just doing it wrong

Can also enable the setting to automatically expand image posts instead.

The mark as read feature (rightly) considers any interaction with the post as being 'read'.

Edit: setting can be found at Settings->Post Feed->Post Appearance->Base View Type->Full (my preferred view at least, try a few out to see what feels right)
