Tbf "Strategic Impact Advisor" sounds like a job you could have your dog do for you while playing video games.

Yep, that’s clearly why it has so many applicants.

It has no real requirements for experience but sounds fancy. It’s the most obvious semi-scam job posting I’ve seen in years.

Where it’s not exactly a scam… but’s not far off.

FYI, here's the posting.

Check out this job at Love-my-work: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4272457232

The company is a bit suspicious, having only 4 employees on LI, including a welder and a doctor, but I think the insane number of applicants is still pretty telling of how bad things have gotten.

This one is by far the worst I've seen, but all remote job postings get hundreds and often thousands of applications within a few days.

Having done some IT work for my company's HR department, its definitely a bad sign. But it's more indicative of the volume of spam these open listings receive daily. We're straight past looking at jobs that don't come with human referrals anymore, because there sheer volume of fake accounts and resumes is debilitating.

This kind of bullshit “job” is definitely not a good indicator of the job market in general.

This seems like barely a real job posting with no requirements, which is why everyone is applying for it.

If any applicants have half a brain and an ounce of self-preservation many of those would be fully automated. Outsource it for far less cost and free yourself up for more important tasks. Decades ago that was called initiative.

Well yeah everyone wants work from home jobs, try finding a physical labor job it will be very easy since no one wants to do that.
