Following the Firefox example I see. Their community was too big and supportive for their taste, I guess they needed to reduce it a bit

for anyone who's looking for alternatives and doesn't fear the shell i really recommend Helix. it's like vi* but in reverse and comes with batteries included, you only need to install the language servers (and maybe the grammars depending on your distro

there's also evil-helix which mimmicks vi style keybindings and more
