“Kids lie a lot,” responded Coriell, the principal. “They lie about all kinds of things. They blow lots of things out of proportion on a daily basis. In 17 years, they do it all the time. So to my knowledge, at 2 o’clock when I checked again, there were no pictures.”

This. And of course those faculty slept on the job punishing the brats but when the victim disciplines the criminals on their behalf, she gets punished for enforcing the rules.

I am going to become Light Yagami.

Yeah I used to get bullied for being autistic a lot in school. Whenever I’d get into fights I’d always hear, “If someone hits you and you hit them back, that makes you just as guilty.”

Well my wife is autistic too and used to get the same shit plus sexual harassment. There was a “game” some of the boys were playing while she was in school (in the same place Deliverance was filmed) where they would just run up to girls and grab their boobs. Someone did that to her and she beat the living shit out of them and got expelled. The teachers just said, “Boys will be boys,” about all the sexual assault that was going on. But at least she got to leave that piece of shit school and that fuckin guy got his ass kicked by a tiny Mexican girl. She had also thrown a girl down a flight of stairs at that school for calling her a slur for lesbians but apparently that was fine since it was girl on girl violence.

Leaves a pretty big opening for communists to reach the working class by saying, “No hitting back is justified.”

children have their personhood removed; women have their personhood removed. it's gotta be awful to be a teenage girl

Can confirm, it utterly sucks to be a young girl, I was one. No one ever believes you about anything unless you're confirming what they already believed. And Catholic Church authorities are even worse than secular ones.

I believe it takes some kind of disgusting hands-off approach to last as a teacher without any "bad" or controversial records of you. I also imagine those same teachers are the ones who never confronted such issues or treated it with the bare minimum in order to be rid of it as soon as possible, leading to a pool of admins who are all entirely wretched

Though my view is entirely vibes-based, I don't have empirical evidence

I couldn’t even do substitute teaching after a certain point because of how school faculty is just garbage.

This is just child endangerment. Any excuse like “but it’s toooo haaaaard!” or “I don’t believe it, so I won’t even investigate!” just further incriminate them in being criminally lazy at their jobs.

They have no right punishing her for kicking his ass. You decided to knee-jerk protect the bully, and when a victim has no other avenue, you even put the bully you were trying to protect in danger.

leave it to the tech industry to come up with new and inventive ways to harass and terrorize women and girls... as if they didn't have enough problems already

it's no accident either. I truly believe shit like this is the primary reason why generative AI exists and why so much money is being poured into it. but regardless, the purpose of a system is what it does

I'm convinced of this, too. Especially with Grok because Musk was using it to make Taylor Swift deep fakes and whatnot.

AI seems entirely focused on making people naked against their will. If they were serious about it being used to make "art," they'd have a lot of focus on stuff like buildings and landscapes. But they don't. All the data fed into AI is focused on making people.

I also think they have the end goal of creating stuff that's indistinguishable from genuine footage. That way, capitalists can flood the internet with fake garbage, forcing people to return to traditional media outlets for acquiring news. Otherwise, how else is a person supposed to get an accurate idea of the world? Then they can go back to censoring the genocide in Palestinian or video of people in China/Russia/DPRK/whatever villains they come up with having normal lives etc. etc. Anything truthful coming out of those places will be dismissed as fake news or AI generated.

They are knowingly distributing child porn with the intend to attack the girls dignity. I don't think there is really a need for a AI specific rule here.

A principal literally just admitted he allowed a COCSA to happen because he assumes if it gets reported it must be a lie because people being mean? That never happens!

In a sane society, his ass would be dragged to a life in prison. If you are a lazy teacher, you are a danger to children and should either quit or hope being jailed for child endangerment is worth it to sleep on the job.

Makes me terrified of what teenage boys will do when they jailbreak their parents' robots, 10 years from now. We need very strict laws around AI and robotics, or we will quickly spiral into a very dark place.

The whole thing the incel community had was that sex bots were going to be the great equalizer for men who couldn't score with women, but instead they're just using it to be creepy around the women they can't get, rather than substitute the intimacy.

It was never about a "male loneliness epidemic" and always about men being mad that they can't control women.

How the fuck is there even a “male loneliness epidemic”?

You’re a nazi chud in the west. How are you a chud and fail to make friends in the fucking west?

Non-chuds are lonely. Minorities and people who aren’t nazis are lonely. Don’t see us whining about it.

Gotta be careful what the adult men will do. The primary use of humanoid robots is sex and anyone saying otherwise is lying to you

There is no other reason to make a robot with the same proportions as a human. The argument that it is most able to do tasks in a person-dominated world is BS. Robots don't need heads. The robot needs balance? Okay give it four humanoid legs. Even if legs are the optimal locomotion (I'm skeptical of this) all you need are legs with a couple arms strapped to them, atlas and p-body style
