I get a "Login failed" error when attempting to login to Piefed. I intentionally tried with an incorrect username and password to see if it may be a connection issue, but I instead get a different error: "An unknown error has occurred".

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I am unable to replicate this. I was just able to log in using Boost to piefed.ca. Does the web ui or another app work?

I'm able to login via my desktop. I tried using Interstellar and it doesn't work. Could it be because my account is too new? I joined 3 hours ago.

Some features of piefed are unavailable to very new accounts, but the api isn't one of them. Maybe @shadow@piefed.ca has some more insight.

Okay, it works now. I waited a few more hours and now I'm sending this using Boost.

I'm also having this issue with Qutebrowser on Piefed.social

On Floorp I can login just fine but entering my username and password on Qutebrowser I get the same thing as you. just refershes to the login page.

Piefed works for me using Boost from piefed.social It's what i am using now

Yeah it started working a few hours after I signed up for an account. No idea why it took a while, but it's all good now.
