This isn't funny, but depressing that so many think like that.

With a dad like that, I'm sure the kids got an excellent demonstration of authoritarianism when they complained about it.
He probably said something like "in my house I'm king, and you have to do what I say" which leads the kids to grow up to 18 and leave the house as quickly as possible. In the years ahead this dad will complain that his kids never visit him and that they got "too woke" when they left the house still be completely oblivious that he himself was the architect of the estrangement.

Taught my kids about a thing by verbally and physically abusing them. But then I got older and weaker while they entered their physical and mental prime. So now, every time my teenage sons come home, I keep a shotgun in easy reach and sit with my back to the wall. I can't wait until they get out of my house, so I can be alone until I die.

No one is really asking to transform the government into 100% socialism. We just want the bullshit loopholes to end. The ultra rich get away with everything and don't pay taxes. That shit needs to end.

ButI don't know if it counts as a socialist system but in Soviet Union where you had people working for the state come in, take all your food and leave you to starve to give the food to the party elite, soldiers, people living in cities. And I don't mean some large land owners but small time farmers, any agrarians. The early party really disliked agrarian people and promoted industry and city people over them to punishing degree. Even kolkhozes got a raw deal sometimes where they tried to make as much food as they could and still got so much of it taken away that they suffered. But all of that is fairly early Soviet Russia/Soviet Union times afaik.
But anyway just wanted to note that you could have that unfair situation in socialism but it doesn't describe it well.
A system calling itself socialist for appearances (because the people there knew socialism was good) is quite different than actual socialism.
The unabbreviated version of "Nazi" included the word socialism too. That was deliberate misdirection, as the politicians knew that the people recognized socialism as a good thing.
That's why I included the caveat right at the start. I know some don't consider it a socialist country.
Yeah thats the joke. You cant just turn the joke around and say its the opposite thing and act like its a new joke.
