Inclusive of all drinks not just coffee. We even have some hummingbird nectar up top for our little wild friends.

I will confess I mostly bought it for the wooden handle. But it’s a dream for pour overs. We had a bonavita but it crapped out after like 6 months.

Ditto. My only issue with it is that the top can be impossible to pull off when it’s hot. If I want to refill I often have to let it cool.

Also please ignore the 90’s boomer special countertop. My only shame in this pic, lol.

Nop, love that countertop. (I'd pick another colour for the wall though, to have it stand out more)

My spouse thanks you for this comment because they “fucking hate that color”.

Glad to be of service. ;)

We have a green wallpaper on the walls in the kitchen. I thought it would be to dark with northern light, but it looks nice. Here is a picture before we replaced the blue kitchen cabinets with a beige set with black counter top. (mess, as it was during the work) Works here, but we have light from the window and lighter cabinets.

First thing I saw was the Campari. Have you tried an iced coffee Negroni/americano? Super delicious. Iced coffee, vermouth, Campari. I also found that aperol in iced coffee went pretty well.

Otherwise, I love this setup! Moka pot, espresso, liquor cabinet. It’s all there!

Oh my partner would love the Negroni Americano probably, thanks for the recommendation! I drink mostly Moscow mules or wine if I drink at all. I’m more of an edible person.

Oh! I love it! I want to do something similar in my living room. What's the size of your countertop?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

It’s 5.5’x2’. You should totally go for it! When we bought this house it was the first time we had anything like this and it’s so nice to keep all the drink stuff together. Plus it clears space on our kitchen counters.

What is the machine on the left?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Coffee roaster. Hottop specifically.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Is it easy to roast consistently from batch to batch?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

With this one yes. You have really good control over everything and it can connect with a computer to be controlled by artisan software.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I didn’t know that artisan existed. Thanks!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Looks like a roaster

I love my Breville Touch! I’d be curious to see if I could notice any difference between that and the Oracle

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If I remember correctly the oracle has auto grinding and tamping as the main feature. Not sure what else it’s got above the touch but this has been a god send during Covid.

Do you roast there or move it outside when you want to roast? The smoke seems like you wouldn’t want it in a finished space without some serious ventilation.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

I bring it over to my stove but also throw up a box fan at the closest window to help control the smoke.
