In the US, the ottomans aren't really talked about that much outside ww1 [and even then, just barely] so I dont really know where to look for histiographic sources on the topic. I don't need like a full analysis in the replies, just any sources relating to the matter would be fine. Thank you in advance.

Turkish marxist history begins with TKP(1920) founded by Mustafa Suphi. All available sources on Turkish I’m afraid. But, Turkiye has a long history with Marxism and socialism. Legal parties are EMEP,ESP, TİP, TKP(2017). Illegal parties are destroyed, killed and butchered by the fascist state. Still, they’re surviving in some neighborhoods in big metropolitan cities or rural areas. The two biggest one THKP-C and TKP-ML. They’re weak to direct fight against the government. Trade unions are sold to government so sadly. Turkiye doesn’t have a revolutionary unions anymore. Class capacity is low for now but I see many parties are getting stronger each day.
