Protesters flooded into streets chanting, marching and waving homemade signs. Organizers said nearly 7 million people showed up for the demonstrations across the country.

Crowds gathered Saturday in cities across the United States — and overseas — for No Kings rallies in protest of President Donald Trump’s administration and to call for the defense of First Amendment rights.

Protesters from Los Angeles to New York — including in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Austin, Texas — flooded into streets chanting, marching and waving homemade signs, including some that proclaimed “We want all of the government to work” and “Make America Good Again.”

If the administration keeps the government closed, the next one will be twice as large.

Economically, maybe it makes sense. But for regular folks? It s totally wrong. The deficit s blown up, corruption s everywhere, and these crazy new policies might help for a bit that’s it. If the economy tanks, the government s going down with it. We need some real action now, or the next Paul Volcker s just around the corner. Some people are far too comfortable
