    Collectible avatars, sheesh. For people who are too dumb to upload an image. If you choose nothing, it defaults to some, well, default avatar. So people can "express their individuality" with some Mr Potatohead type choices. If you pay reddit coins, you can "express your individuality" even more.

    I'm not sure how current or complete my rant is, but at some point it used to be like that.

    I can see how that sortof goes into NFT/Buttcoin territory.
