I hated George Steinbrenner at the time, but I'm sure he would have turned down all the tea in China rather than put an ad on the Yankees' pinstripes.

I'm still mentally preparing for the helmet ads that absolutely will happen. All the advertising doesn't even mean shorter commercials or anything of that sort it's just more corporation consumption and there's nothing we can do about it

Strange decision to sell out all the tradition and class for a measley $20 million a year.

At least it's relatively unobtrusive but it's still a damn shame.

I hate the Yankees but this is honestly offensive. The pinstripes are the most iconic uniform in possible all of global sports, adding an insurance ad is just gross

Fuck the owners but the players also deserve flak for agreeing in the first place
