The title is in reference to when Trump said this:
The president took to right-leaning social platform Truth Social on May 16 to ask his followers: "Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she’s no longer 'HOT?'"
I understand that this is The President, of which used to be a very respectable position.
It's funny until you realize Trump probably has no recollection posting this.
Kid Rock's Fans: Sad Bawitdaba noises
I have a funny story about Kid Rock music. I was ice fishing with some friends in Michigan on Lake Superior. We we were streaming Pandora and Kid Rock's "Midnight Train to Memphis" started to play.
Just then, my dad opens the door to ask how our fishing is going. He is a nice guy and does not like profanity of any kind. We are talking to him for a bit, then the second half of the song hits. If you're familiar with the song, it goes from a soft song to a heavy, profanity filled song.
My dad left after the lyrics repeated "Fuck a bitch, fuck a bitch" for a whole eternity it felt like

I am a dad and a music lover. Profanity aside, I will walk out of any room where anyone is playing the worst music I've ever heard. I don't care what the 'artist' intends, but if I hear dog shit, I avoid as if it was tear gas. Kid Rock is unlistenable. Always has been, always will be. I detest the platform he's been given and that we still have to utter his wretched name.

This just in, apparently the two party crony capitalist system isn't just going to hand everyone systemic change as that would endangered their grasp... Apparently people have to - force this state of affairs to change.

Just to remind you that both parties are what's known as "cartel parties", serving the same wealthy interests.
Don't get me wrong, The Democrats are preferable to Trump, but this whole situation is a product of Neo-Liberal Capitalism's unwillingness to regulate wealth and remove it from influencing democratic outcomes.
By encouraging both parties to constantly service the rich, and deregulate their interests, we're left with a voting public DESPERATE FOR RADICAL CHANGE.
....which is why Bernie, AOC, and Trump could all be popular at the same time. Because they're all carry varying degrees of promise for change.
Some will likely lose that sheen of promise quicker than others. Ratchet theory - that both parties only shift things toward the goals of the rightwing Capitalist freemarket - will continue to be the central long term problem inviting radicalism and even more Trump like Fascism.
True change will not be handed to you by this system. The system will break over time with radical disappointments leading to violence. Delays and stop-gaps may be offered along the way, but the core problems of free market Neo-Liberal Capitalism corrupting Democracy will remain.
...voters will remain hungry for a break from that.
In order to take a shit, you gotta go where the shit lives.
