If you're wondering why CNBC is carrying water for the fascists, it's the same reason all the other corps are:

Comcast is the parent company of NBCUniversal, which owns CNBC. Versant would become the new parent company of CNBC under a planned spinoff.

They want approval for restructuring.

The answer is money. All of capitalism will abandon every "value", every virtue signal of ethics and morality, and capitulate to fascism as long as they believe it will mean greater profits for them, personally.
