Do it. Everyone in their right mind should.

Everyone who reads this and still has an X account needs to do some soul searching as to why. If you just keep it to read some particular posts consider using a nitter instance instead.

I've never had a twitter account. It had no benefit to me when it was first made, whereas now it's something much worse.

They need to think of an alternative way to reach their racist voters.

So, they didn't drop "X" after Elon's Nazi salute? Shame.

I'm still a little amazed Twitter hasn't devolved into just another Truth Social, at this point. Why is anyone even still using it, outside of Elon's muskrats?

I really don’t get it. But I used to use twitter quite a bit pre musk. And whenever I log back in to continue working on purging my account, Like I’m greeted with loads of lefty posts???

Why the fuck y’all still on their I ask myself shaking my head. What the fuck are so called communists and demsoc doing on Xitter!!??

If you want bluesky.

Wafrn.net federates to both bluesky and mastodon. But is community run. ;)

They can set up their own fediverse instance. The EU, Germany and the Netherlands have done so. Beyond that, they can automatically mirror posts to Bluesky or wherever they need to.

General community for news/discussion in the UK.

Less serious posts should go in [email protected] or [email protected]
More serious politics should go in [email protected].

Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
