Hi there! I'm trying to find a good not necessarily note-taking app, something like Joplin or Notion (sluggish and doesn't fit). There I could create a grid of images with captions, without having to use a whiteboard or anything too complex.

Obsidian has plugins that can do something like this I think.

I'm currently developing a note taking app for the purpose of taking "quick notes", so I'm curious about use case? Are you trying to create diagrams? Or just take a few pictures to save as a group?

latter I think, i have many low-res pictures and want to place them compactly

hmmm makes sense, thanks! I think that's one of the goals I'm trying to address, but I'm still a ways off.

Currently, my personal system for storing photos is just a folder with a file-naming system, unfortunately. 🥲. But depending on how you view your filesystem, maybe a finder app or a photo-viewing app is what you're looking for?
