Not an overdose:

Several people in the area reported the incident to police.

Responding officers with the Los Angeles Police Department contacted Nas, who reportedly charged at them. He was taken into custody, TMZ reports.

Officers told paramedics Nas was suffering from a possible overdose, and he was taken to the hospital.

Yes, it was an overdose after he charged at them and then needed to go to the hospital. /s

Sorry man, I think we need more info. He was probably on many drugs, charged the police and then they beat the crap out of him.

Dang, didn't know they beat him. Guess that's what one should expect when charging the police though lol.

I hope he's alright. I'm not familiar with drugs but he didn't really seem to be suffering an overdose to me, just acting strangely. I've suspected that he hasn't been doing well for awhile, if he's got some personal stuff going on hopefully he recovers and uses this as a wake up call and get this substance abuse under control.
