For those (like me) who ditched twitter/X, this is from an article in the Bangkok Post about the incident.
Two Chinese ships collided while pursuing a Philippine patrol boat in the South China Sea on Monday, with one of them sustaining “substantial damage”, the Philippine Coast Guard said.
The incident occurred near the contested Scarborough Shoal, where the Philippine Coast Guard was escorting boats distributing aid to fishermen in the area, spokesman Commodore Jay Tarriela said.
