Like half the time on Reddit the notification was just a ploy to trick me into clicking onto those stupid snoo nfts things, but on lemmy whenever I see a notification I know it’s actual engagement.

Did anyone ever get a chat by someone, and you went to 'ignore' to get rid of the Redditor/notification but it didn't work, so you ALWAYS had a notification to a chat that was probably a bot?
