It's getting to the point where I dont want to vote for anyone that's not an atheist...

If you truly believe any religion and it guides your policy and decisions, you belong in a mental institution more than a government office.

It's fucking delusional and pretending it's not clearly isn't working out.

Well, Mikey boy. Native American scripture says the entirety of North America is the spiritual homeland for their people and belongs to them. What do you plan to do about that?

Not even a need to bring other scripture into it...

Just make him say the rest of what he's talking about.

They want Israel to be a Jewish country, so that Armageddon can happen. Israel is supposed to be where it starts, and they're all die first because they didn't accept Jesus (according to what Johnson is talking about).

They literally want all the Jewish people gathered in one spot so God can kill them before killing most of the rest of the world as well.

It's an apocalypse cult. And most Republican voters don't understand that last bit.

There's also supposed to be a Rapture or something, where all the righteous are whisked away to meet the Savior. Meanwhile, ICE is literally disappearing innocent people to a place called "El Salvador". Coincidence? Maybe the Rapture is here, and they're not in it.

I wish they'd all just get some Nikes, cut off their nuts, and take the special potion to be with their sky daddy and leave us sane people the fuck alone.

Joseph Smith enters the chat....

Mormons believe that the Native Americans are tribes of Isreal. Swap Mike Johnson for Mike Lee, problem solved. I hate that he's my Senator.

Use of fairytales to justify policy.

That suit made out of one kind of fabric Mike?

Religions can be bent and twisted to make the "god" of that religion say anything you want. That is the true power of religion ... and it sucks.

[-] [email protected] 9 points 1 month ago

no it does fucking not. Evangelicals know NOTHING about their faith. bunch of heretics.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Their not even Christians or know fuck all about the Bible. They just use it as a weapon against things they are scared of.

[-] [email protected] 8 points 1 month ago

What a piece of deplorable shit. Goes to a country actively commiting ethic cleansing, a fucking genocide, and willfully starving children to death, and then declares that the land they're stealing is God's will?

Fucking evangelicals man. I hope jebus does show up so peace loving people around the world can witness the rapture and watch these evil "christian" fuckers burn. Obviously that won't happen because magic isn't real and imaginary sky wizard doesn't exist and is just a story used to control people's lives, but it's a nice thought.

"Scripture teaches us that the mountains of Judea and Samaria were promised to the Jewish people." Yeah but it also frowns on murdering babies, sort of cherry picking there.

'Now go and strike Amalek and completely destroy everything that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ - Samuel 15:3

[-] [email protected] 3 points 1 month ago

Why doesn't he read the bible for himself, and recognize that it has nothing to do with this?

[-] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

the only kind of work Republicans do is god’s work

[-] [email protected] 2 points 1 month ago

WTF? So made-up stories in Mikey's little book club are the same as a deed to the land?
