My dog does this with belly skritches; very much a “oh I’m sorry you thought you were done” thing

Our dog will smack your phone out of your hand for pets.
My dog wedges his head in under my phone holding hand and replaces my screen with his face.

My cat does this. She'll actually grab your hand as you pull it away.
After I taught my cat to shake paws, she started coming up to us and offering her paw to us. She'll either place her paw on us / on our hands or paw at the air in front of us.
