Might be wrong but the only solution I see on the XDA forums involves rooting, and the rootless solution seems to work only with Google Tensor devices (ie Pixel 6 and above).

I do have some hopes for A14 to support VoLTE. Let's see ๐ If it won't be the case, then I guess root will be my solution or a move to a different, <6 inch sized phone.
Is this a custom ROM or stock? Stock should activate fine. The easiest way to test is turn off wifi and make a call. If during the call the "LTE" icon stays in the status bar then VoLTE is already working and you should not need to do anything at all.
I'm on stock- carrier says it is already activated, but I cannot even spot it in the options.
Theres nothing to activate, unless its intentionally disabled in settings it should just work.
Settings -> Network & Internet -> SIMs -> VoLTE
Are you with an MVNO or direct with a real carrier?
