I talked to so many people yesterday. It was tiring, but mostly positive. I even managed to refrain from telling the Petsmart cashier that she looked super bored with her job. I might have even made a human friend with a guy at the BMV.
I got a RISC-V board for my bday!
I'm curious! Wanna tell me what you're gonna do with it?
I'm thinking about using it as a router, but I'm also going try helping out with risc-V desktop software development in general
I love how seemingly many autistic people share a common interest in electronics and FOSS. I appreciate your ambitions in contributing.
What kind of board is that even? Have you had any prior experiences with OpenWRT (which I guess you're considering for using it as a router)? One day I'm going to try setting one up myself but life keeps getting in the way
It's a VisionFive 2! It's the cheapest one out there, and If I ever get a risc-V desktop when I get more money, I'll just turn it into a router only.
I'm planning on runing debian on it, and using podman to run openwrt (only using CLI commands).
