Umm... ok not a huge expert on how the courts work... but is who she'd be bargaining with be under trumps control?, again not really sure the logistics... but if it's all federal employees under trumps control... couldn't they be saying "we'll go as light as humanly possible, but if you rat out trump... we'll hit you with everything the law allows".

They're not anti-pedophile, or they'd be going after a number of prominent Republicans. They live in a fantasy world where Republicans can do no wrong and everyone else does all and only wrong. The pedophile fantasy is part of that, not an attempt to address real-world child abuse.
