The already depressingly low NASA budget gets slashed in half to feed the ultra wealthy... God I hate Republicans more and more every day...

Come on Cuba, do something special! Then we'll have no choice but to toss more money at NASA to beat communists again!

Just an FYI, it's not the whole NASA budget being cut in about half, I keep seeing people say this. I think it was something more like 25% overall budget cut. The science missions got hit the heaviest and got a roughly 50% cut.

Maybe one day we'll actually be able to celebrate a 25% increase! although naturally that day will probably only come in the form of subsidizing corporate space ventures. :/
