The last suit you get in Dread definitely wasn’t my favorite, but boy was it distinctive. Somehow even more organic looking than the Fusion suit which I guess is fitting since it’s a direct sequel.
- Super Metroid's varia suit with the giant shoulders. Most iconic and power armor-looking one
- Gravity suit (the newer designs from mercurysteam actually take the cake here imo)
- Phazon suit
You know, I kinda think fusion suits were a step in the right direction. They make it more obvious they're partly organic, and they're sleeker. Though maybe they could look a little less like rubber.
I do like dread designs too, even if they're more on the classic side.
Spoiler : Dread ending
Of course the metroid suit is the most organic yet, but that's a bit too much.
The power suit needs more teeth
Metroid 6 : the "suit" is back, and now Samus doesn't have a beam anymore, she just grabs enemies and bites them all to death.
Then she can have a friendly contest with Kirby for most overpowered, scariest cosmic horror.
Phazon Suit from Prime, although the 100% corruption PED suit from Prime 3 is a close second. No idea what's going to happen with Prime 4, though. Probably no Phazon related suits?
Prime 4 from the trailers appears to give samus psychic powers and stars the Galactic Federation's angry science project (who may be using a phazon based suit himself?) I'm hoping for a cool purple suit in prime 4
Aren't the prime games set in-between the main games?
Yes, between Metroid and Metroid 2. But this doesn't have that much impact on story/mechanics themselves
I think the Design of the dread suit is amazing, especially at the end of the game when she gets the watermelon variant.
I also really like the original gravity suit from Super Metroid, but they're all awesome.

N.B. we don’t like artwork sexualizing Samus, so don’t even bother posting.
