Many parts of the internet. I won't pretend there were never trolls (Usenet, BBS's, etc. all had them), but things have definitely shifted. A minority of people have essentially weaponized various things in this system as well.

The 'think of the children' crowd(s)?
Not sure they're a minority, though.

The people willing to ruin anything for the so-called protection and/or good of children. Including destroying the one most fundamental requirement to any truly free & democratic society (hint: privacy). And that also are actively destroying the educative system... screwing those same kids even more badly by not allowing them to get some basic/essential education.

I still can't believe college students have a hard time reading books. Let alone do math.

And that's not just a US issue, we have the same shit going on here in the EU, at the very least I see it happening in France. It's frightening and, once again, the first losers here are the kids themselves and then the whole society is losing because less educated young people mean they will have a lesser potential and lesser abilities to face new issues or to innovate, and there we all lose big time. Too bad for a generation that will most certainly have to face a shitload of unprecedented issues.

Politics. Although "minority" is debatable.

Drugs. Idiots are both on the prohibitionist and consumer side.

Everything.

Because those idiots are incredibly rich and can pay news outlets, social platforms, politicians and propaganda stations to push their extremist agendas.

Those who abuse charities and donations for their own benefit both hurt the people who are most in need of their services and the faith of donors (and potential donors) in those systems.

Global social media. At some point things like LJ were very cool.

I heard some places aren't open to tourists any more. One of the several examples being Kyoto's Gion district. Mainly because a small minority of idiots couldn't follow the simple rules like not snap pictures of unwilling people (and they felt harassed) and traipse on private property.

But in tourism it's also mixed with places that are just overcrowded these days or prices went through the roof and that's more a majority-problem. And then we have places where people had to put up fences and such because people were taking selfies right at the brittle cliff. And locals didn't want to scrape them off the ground. But that's not exactly "ruined" for other people. It's just that there is a fence now.
