By 2100, sea levels are projected to rise by 72 centimetres
I wonder if this estimate assumes a constant rate of sea level rise or does it take into account that it's only going to accelerate. Seems quite low to me.
Yeah, if the West Antarctica ice shelf collapses, I don't see how it could be that low. But we can't predict exactly how long the ice will take to melt, so maybe it really will happen gradually.
