When I'm carrying a larger wheeled bag, I use a nylon Tumi tote for my personal item. It's lightweight, roomy, and I can pack it a variety of ways because it's not too structured.
If I'm carrying a smaller wheeled bag, I use a larger Patagonia backpack, usually with a laptop or two (due to client demands, I sometimes need to carry two laptops. Sucks.)
