I could be wrong, but I think the article is saying there is "no intel" on Iran building nukes, and that nothing has changed - not that there was no intel and they guessed at what they were shooting at.

I mean, when the WMD pretext is an entirely fabricated justification anyway you don't really need more Intel on it to carry out the attack.

Given Irans willingness to cooperate before, it's not like the lack of Intel was about where these facilities are or anything like that.

(Though Iranian reports are stating that they did in fact move the uranium to actual undisclosed facilities before the attack)
