i know of livorno, celtic, rayo vallecano, union st gilloise, standard liege, red star paris, bologna (maybe?) and the better version of st pauli babelsberg 03

liverpool, man utd and basically everyother major football club have some socialist history due to it being a working class sport, but it seems that is just history now. the big clubs are all moneygrubbing bastards

Club Deportivo Palestino is third division Chilean team from Santiago that was originally made up entirely of refugees from the Nakba (Santiago took more Palestinians than just about any city in the world at the time) and still advocate and fundraise for Palestine. I've got several of their excellent shirts.

You can't see it on the first kit really in that picture, but that's a map of Palestine on the sleeve. They also use the shape of the map as '1's for the numbers on their shirts

Palestino play in the first division of Chile (and are in 3rd place right now so maybe that's what you meant) and are also in the Libertadores (South American continental competition where the best clubs from each country qualify) this year where they finished the group stages in 2nd and advanced to the next phase

Replied to another comment about this as well, but Union Berlin / its supporters are not left wing. If anything, they tend to be a bit to the right (although nominally they are apolitical).

East Germany got fully undermined by western neo-nazis especially the sport scene which was the only public space not destroyed by treuhand. The majority of institutions there are openly controlled by the fash (although there is still the pretence in the west). Take the police of Dessau-Roßlau, for example, who regularly kidnaps and lynches foreign students and non-White individuals; I believe they just did it to a Sinti person yesterday.

I will never look down on Celtic fans. These images really bring a tear to my eye. I certainly don’t agree with everything that sometimes comes with the Palestine-friendly political currents where I am, which is pretty relevant given I live less than two hours’ drive away from the Blue Line. I sure as hell won’t be expecting any more remarkable politics from a group of ultras, this warms my heart on its own.

Portland Timbers (USA)

From Wikipedia:In 2019, the Timbers Army made national news as they clashed with the MLS front office over the use of the Iron Front symbol on flags flown by Timbers supporters. MLS banned the anti-fascist symbol along with far-right regalia in a blanket ban of "political signage", which the Army contested, arguing in a statement that opposition to fascism, racism, and sexism was not political.[93] A protracted public battle between the Army and MLS brass occurred, culminating in a protest during the August game against Seattle where the TA deliberately stayed silent for the first 33 minutes of the nationally televised clash to commemorate 1933, the year that the Iron Front was disbanded in Nazi Germany.[94]

After the protests by the Timbers Army gained media exposure, Major League Soccer officials announced they would meet with the Army and other supporter groups around the league. A month later, on September 24, 2019, the league announced it would be reversing the policy that prohibited the Iron Front, allowing Timbers supporters to use the symbol again.[95] This was a rare instance in American sports (and one of the first in MLS) that a supporter group had directly taken on the league with an organized response and forced a change in policy.[96]

Seattle Sounders FC (USA)

From Wikipedia:The Sounders FC Alliance was established at the request of minority owner Drew Carey, who was named its chairman.[244] Based on the fan association at FC Barcelona, members of the Alliance have the ability to vote on the removal of the general manager and on other team decisions. Season ticket holders become automatic members, while non-season ticket holders may buy into the Alliance for a fee. Membership benefits include voting privileges, an invitation to the annual meeting and other team perks. Members may also be elected to the Sounders FC Alliance Council by receiving at least 25 nominations from other members on an annual basis. The first vote on retaining or replacing Sounders general manager Adrian Hanauer was held in late 2012. After 13,775 votes registered, Hanauer was retained by the Alliance.[245]

Carey also requested that the Sounders have their own marching band, the first of its kind in MLS.[246] This led to the creation of Sound Wave, a 53-member marching band consisting of brass and marching percussion.[247] The band plays music from multiple genres, such as Latin, rock and pop,[247] and sits on the north end of Lumen Field.[248] The March to the Match, in which fans march from Occidental Park to Lumen Field before each home match, has been accompanied by Sound Wave.[249] The club's fight song is "Salute to the Olympians" by Henry Mancini, which had been adopted by the NASL Sounders in 1974 and later used by the USL Sounders.[250][251]

Besides the Alliance, there are four recognized, independent supporters groups for the Sounders.[252] Emerald City Supporters (ECS), which formed in 2005 to support the USL Sounders, is the largest supporter group and sits in the south end of the stadium (nicknamed the "Brougham End")[253] in sections 121–123.[254] The Eastside Supporters, established in 2010 to recognize fans from the Eastside region, are located in section 150.[252] Gorilla FC, an anti-fascist supporters group that fundraises for charitable causes in the Puget Sound region, is based in section 120.[255][256] The North End Faithful sit in the north end of the stadium.[257]

Finally a topic I know something about! This is something I've spent too much time researching the last few years. You've definitely got the major ones in your post but I'll add a few others that, at least, have antifa ultras:

  • Ternana Calcio (Italy)
  • Bronshoj BK (Denmark)
  • Clapton FC (England) and Clapton CFC (a breakaway club some fans formed)
  • FC United of Manchester (England)
  • AFC Liverpool (England. Bonus points for having by far the coolest badge)
  • Derry City FC (Ireland. Probably a somewhat controversial addition since their fans are not really explicitly leftist aligned, but they're strongly associated with Irish Republicanism.)
  • AEK Athens (Greece)
  • Virtus Verona (Italy)
  • Adana Demirspor (Turkey)

These are the ones off the top of my head. Italy generally seems to have the most clubs with strong political affiliations, especially compared to England.

can't believe no one's mentioned omonia or omonia 29m in cyprus. they're the greek livorno, most supporters are voters or members of AKEL. their logo is based off old eastern bloc heraldry. they've managed to reach the cypriot first division in recent years. no idea why they split from omonia fc to form their own fan owned club, im not a cypriot. will probably start following their activity, seems like a very interesting story
