published anonymously in the early 1970s, now known to have been written by Grace Lee Boggs (玉平) of Sojourner Truth Organization. Although it doesn't seem to be available on STO's archive.

My friend gave me this with some ceremony. I'm curious if anyone else has read it? What are opinions of the text, its author or STO?

I read this years ago and thought it was great. I didn't know anything about STO and very little about the author, but the text is a good primer in how to organize. I appreciated that she was clear that demcent is important and that in the imperial core, worker's quality of life will go down from a revolution which is different than the revolutions we look up to where workers "had nothing to lose but their chains." Pointing out the labor aristocracy issue and how it makes workers in the US harder to convince about revolution was very prescient in the 1970s

Grace Lee Boggs is one of the great revolutionaries and internationalists of the last 6 decades. Big props to her.

Have you seen the PBS documentary "American Revolutionary: The Evolution Of Grace Lee Boggs"?

If yes what did you think?

If no, it's available on archive.org
