I'm told this is now supposed to work to sticky across the fediverse. 4th attempt!

Started season 2 of Andor after rewatching season 1.

The step down in quality is really incredible. Apparently it gets better in the back half.

I’d recommend just re-rewatching season 1.

Just started watching Your Friends & Neighbors on Apple TV. Not bad. Not amazing. Decent to watch with the hubby when we’re relaxing after dinner.

We’re also interested in Murderbot but want to wait until the whole season is available

I wait to binge as well, I'm too impatient to wait

I’ve been on an oldies kick lately. Currently watching M.A.S.H (into season 2) and Monty Python’s Flying Circus (just a couples of episodes in so far). I’ve watched both sporadically over the years but never straight through.

For more recent television I finished The Studio and Andor season 2. I enjoyed and would recommend both.

Yes, some episodes can really bring on the emotions.

I have the DVD version with an option for no laugh track. I grew up with it being present so I can tune it out but this show is much better without the canned laughter.

I agree it doesn't need it

Just finished Department Q on Netflix, it was pretty great. The trail that the detectives follow gets quite intricate, in that regard it benefitted from having a more expansive 9 episode season (rather than 4 or 6 which U.K. shows usually have). The main character is really abrasive, that’s his main personality trait, but there’s a certain kind of integrity lying underneath his impatient outbursts that is endearing. The set design was interesting also, the seedy basement office, the hyperbaric chamber and even the psychiatric facility had almost a retro sci-fi aesthetic, which wasn’t really required for the story but deepened the overall mood.

Been watching Fargo season 3 because V.M. Vargas is my favorite tv villain of all time
