Do any of these instances already have their own "ask" communities?

This could make things easier or harder, depending on how aligned the existing moderators are with those of this community.

No, I haven't seen any Ask communities on any of those instances.

There's https://discuss.tchncs.de/c/Asktchncs , but there's a single post, the name is too specific, so probably better to start a new one.
