Thibs is a weird coach. He can get so much from his teams sometimes, but other times he just ruins the offense and grinds his guys down. Not terribly surprised to see him go. Knicks probably tap Malone for a replacement.
Floor raiser, not ceiling raiser. Much like Budenholzer.
I think if he had better assistants he would be a GOAT.
Good way to put it and never thought of it this way before. Sam Mitchell is another good example of a floor raiser.
That's sad. It's their first ECF in years. But I suspect the GM is also on the brink. He traded 5 1st round picks for Bridges and that move might have handicapped them.
It's tough being an NBA coach.
