Foresight is a sensemaking, futurist, mid-course correction, appropriate technology, metacrisis, existentical hope institution. The OSE opinion is that social technology is more important. At a time of exploding hardware tech and retarded social tech - namely the lack of a collaborative abundance mindset - the key threat to society is not technology but humanity's incapacity to steward this technology properly. Stewarding technology properly is more of a personal development issue, less of a technology issue.

The Global Village Construction Set (GVCS) is a modular, DIY, low-cost, high-performance platform that allows for the easy fabrication of the 50 different Industrial Machines that it takes to build a small, sustainable civilization with modern comforts.

The goal of Open Source Ecology is to create an open source economy – an efficient economy which increases innovation by open collaboration.
