The frame of mind it takes to say this... the PRC and the DPRK are actually two different countries. Western rulers think that the big countries control the small countries like puppets on strings to attack the other big countries they don't like because this is what they themselves reflexively do. Pure projection.

We are going to defensive alliance you so hard with our aggressive move to Asi-wait.

Also, if they want the DPRK to do something they should talk to the DPRK. This is what happens when you refuse to have diplomatic relations with a country. Should China start issuing demands to the US via Canada? International diplomacy should not be grade-school note-passing.

Look I just don't get how the west thinks, the DPRK is an ally of the PRC and RF, NATO (a totaly only defincive alliance) is threatening the PRC because the DPRK is allied with RF and fighting with RF in a war aganst a not nato member. CHINA DOES NOT CONTROL THE DPRK ... and more to the point THAT IS PRETTY BLATENT NATO IS OFFENCIVE... where is the subtlety trying to hide what we all know as true

It's just yet another morph of judeobolshevism.

They only understand the concept of the strong/large nation owning and controlling the weaker/small nation. They can't comprehend the idea that the strong nation can allow the weaker nation to be it's own independent state, not a vassal.

"China is powerful nation of [insert asian slur]. So they much obviously control all the other nations of [insert asian slur].

This is how they think.

Notably, European and US officials directly threatened China multiple times at the Shangri-La Dialogue, which is ostensibly supposed to be a diplomatic conference promoting regional peace.

- Here's Macron saying that the situation in Ukraine and Taiwan are identical, implying that the Western world needs to mount a counter-offensive against China before it "invades" the apparently independent country of Taiwan:

https://nitter.poast.org/RnaudBertrand/status/1928441976019619868

- Here's the aforementioned threat to keep expanding NATO (the North Atlantic Treaty organization) in to Asia (as they has been doing indirectly in offices in Japan over the past several years):

https://nitter.poast.org/D162Michele/status/1928565585606025432

- Related to that is Macron OUTRIGHT LYING, essentially denouncing China for commanding North Korean troops to fight in the Russo-Ukrainian conflict:

https://global.espreso.tv/world-news-macron-calls-on-china-to-stop-north-koreas-role-in-ukraine-to-avoid-nato-expansion

- Here's white Christian Nationalist, tattooed "Crusader", US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth saying that a “CCP” invasion of Taiwan is imminent and that the US must ramp up and “protect” Taiwan by 2027

https://nitter.poast.org/SD73660/status/1928647182145442047

-Here's the ultra-hardline neoliberal, China-hawk, VP of the European Commission Kaja Kallas, saying that the EU will now attack and "impose costs" on China for "attacking the Czech Republic", which is blatant empty pretext for escalation

https://nitter.poast.org/CarlZha/status/1928282918662853024

- Kallas' comments mirrors comments made by John Healey, the UK Defence Minister, declaring that the "UK will increase cyberattacks against China"

https://archive.ph/cXMDu

UK and Australian media are now suddenly accusing China of "extraordinary" military build-up

https://nitter.poast.org/D162Michele/status/1929241175199711528

The US has also ramped up the vacuous “dual-use” rhetoric on China over the past few weeks, which is a complete farce.

Now, why is Macron saying the exact opposite of what he said back in June 2023, when he said moving NATO to Asia would be a "big mistake", countering Stoltenberg?

https://eastasiaforum.org/2023/08/25/the-errors-of-natos-east-asia-engagement/

Notably, the Shangri-La Dialogue itself is organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), the well-known British think tank.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

[-] [email protected] 5 points 4 days ago

~~North~~ ~~Atlantic~~ Oceanic Treaty Organization (OTO)

[-] [email protected] 3 points 4 days ago

Actually a pretty cool abbreviation, because it would at least remain the same in different languages. Unlike the current "NATO/OTAN" situation.
