In general, I’m indifferent to the cyber truck’s Nintendo 64 design…

But in the application of a police vehicle… I don’t think the unfriendly angles will do anything to repair the damaged reputation of the keepers of the peace. The opposite in fact.

This definitely looks like it could be a vehicle straight out of Robocop especially with the Oracle logo on the side.

Police departments prefer fleet vehicles that are easy to repair. Caprice Classics were popular with taxi companies and law enforcement because the individual panels could easily be replaced after an accident.

I don’t think the Cybertruck falls under either of these categories.

Do police departments buy a lot of trucks? I live in Texas and have only seen a handful of police trucks. Are they expecting them to switch out their SUVs for the cybertruck?
