The non sharpened edge of an exacto blade does wonders for this. I've fixed tons of bent pins this way, the only ones that I write off are ones that curl over on themselves

I used to use the very tip of a mechanical pencil with no lead in it. I've gotten away with it many times, back in the Socket 5 and Socket 7 era.
