Nowadays, you'll be wishing for the depression of 2018/2019!

I usually tend to see that 2019 was the best year in recent memory for many people online in general (lockdowns marked the start of "worse times"). Not to say that no one would have a reason to hate that year though.

This is a good example for why I don't get people saying "this year is going to be the year" or "once this year is over, it'll all be fine". There's no such thing. Good cannot happen without bad. Circle of life. Yada yada yada.

20/20 is average vision, not perfect. Please stop using this idiom - it is factually inaccurate to what it is attempting to convey. There are people out there with better than 20/20 vision, for whom this saying makes zero sense.
