Meh, if you grow up in the sticks (and on a cattle farm) you become immune.
Now, 25 years after moving away from there, my GF instantly reacts to that smell. I don't even notice it unless she tells me why she closed the car window.
Plus cow dung doesn't smell that much at all, considering the efficient bovine digestion. Pig, on the other hand, that's a smell I really notice.
Grew up on a ranch with hundreds of beef cows. I spend a lot of time on dairies, organic farms etc.. so I am constantly around the smell.
It still stinks.
However you are correct, pigs smell much worse.
